This Privacy Policy explains how My Timeline (the "Service", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use mytimeline.top. By using the Service you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

We collect three categories of information. (a) Account information you provide when registering: email address, password hash and optional nickname. (b) Timelines you create: titles, descriptions, dates, nodes, cover images and privacy settings. (c) Usage metadata: timestamps of visits and the API requests made on your behalf.

2. How we use your information

Account information is used to authenticate you. Timeline content is stored so that you can edit it later and (when public) so other visitors can read it. We do not read or analyse your private timelines beyond what is needed to display them to you.

3. Where your data is stored

All account and timeline data is stored in our managed Postgres database hosted on a major cloud provider. Access is restricted to authorised engineers and protected by TLS in transit and AES-256 at rest. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.

4. Sharing with third parties

We share data only with our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare Pages, hosting, email). Public timelines you publish are visible to anyone with the URL. We do not embed third-party advertising trackers on this site beyond Google AdSense.

5. Cookies

We use only first-party storage (localStorage) to remember your theme preference, language preference and login session. No third-party cookies or tracking pixels are set by the Service.

6. Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated timelines at any time from your account settings, or by emailing privacy@kiveo.org. After deletion we remove your account row and all related data within 30 days.

7. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this Privacy Policy we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify registered users by email.
